スローンリサーチフェローに採用！

９月ごろにフェローシップを申し込んでいたSloan foundationから手紙がきた。手紙ってのはよくない兆候だなあ(普通よい知らせは電話でくる）と思ったが、"It is a great pleasure ..."と見た瞬間にわかる採用通知！　"This is an extraodinarily competitive award, involving nominations for most of the best scientists of your generation from US and Canada"と、うれしいことが書いてある。予算なしの自由に使える研究費$22,500x2 yearsも大変ありがたい。

これまでの獲得グラント、BWF($120K x 3) + Dana ($100 x 2) + Sloan ($22.5K x 2)　となり、合計$605Kなり。これで２年間はいちおう大丈夫か。
